Slider Bed Conveyor

The Model 405 is an economical power conveyor system ideal for widely varying load shapes and sizes. The low friction belt slides on top of a strong steel supporting bed for optimal load stability. Crates, bags, bundles, rolls and packaged goods are transported with ease. Available with ruff top belt material for incline and decline applications. Standard Specifications: Model 405 Slider Bed

Frame: 5-½" deep, 12 gage painted steel. 5' and 12' long bed sections

Center Drive: 7' 6" long bed, 8" diameter drive pulley with a 2-1/16" diameter shaft stepped down to 1-3/16"

Belt Take-Up: 26" of manual screw take-up in the center drive

Speed: 60 fpm

Motor: ¾ hp C-Face, 208/230/460/480 volt, 60 cycle, 3 phase, totally enclosed

End Pulley: 4" diameter pulley with a 1-7/16" diameter shaft

 Pop-Out Safety Rollers: Located at each end of the conveyor

Return Rollers: 1.9" diameter, 16 gage steel with plated bearing shell, steel balls, unsealed and greased

Belt: Black PVC-90 friction surface x friction surface; 8", 12", 18", 24" widths

Supports: 24" to 36" adjustable floor supports at each end and at bed joints. (For conveying surface height, add frame depth.) Diagonal braces at each end and an extra pair for conveyors over 50' long. For other support heights, see the Accessories: Supports page.

Also available w/brake.		 End Drives: One way operation. 4" or 8" diameter drive pulley and pop-out safety roller. Conveyor end assembly has 8" of belt take-up. ¾ hp maximum for 4" diameter pulley drives.
Incline/decline conveyors are available. Call for assistance on selecting the following options:
Belt: Ruff top x friction surface

Nose-Over: 15º to 22-½º. Includes 4" end pulley and an end pop-out roller, and one 24" to 36" adjustable floor support.

Return Belt Roller Guards: Required on inclined conveyors from 30" above floor level to 8' 0".

 Power Feeder: Attaches to low end of main conveyor and is slave driven. Belt speed of a feed-on power feeder is 50 fpm.

Feed-off unit's belt speed is 73 fpm. 4" diameter pulleys, pop-out end roller and 8", 12", 18", or 24" belt width, and one 24" to 36" adjustable floor support.
