Conveyor gate sections are designed for use with gravity wheel and roller beds, permitting temporary access through the conveyor line for personnel, lift trucks and other equipment. They are of the same construction and allowable distributed load as the connecting conveyors. Gates are shipped completely assembled with striker arm and cradles. Manual gates have a maximum lift effort of 40 pounds.

Spring counterbalanced gates are used when gate overall width is wider and frames are deeper to correspond with connecting conveyor. If the adjacent bed is steel, use counterbalanced gates, which are also steel. If the adjacent bed is aluminum, use non-counterbalanced gates, which are also aluminum.
